Hey lady! I’m Dr. Rosie Garcia

FOUNDER OF SIMPLY LIVING COUNSELING

I help women find acceptance, self-love, and inner harmony.

Something I’ve found to be true over the past 10 years is that no one escapes obstacles or suffering. But counseling can help. Since I’ve embarked on my own counseling journey to deal with life transitions and anxiety, I know how much courage it takes to start the process of asking for help. I’m divorced and no stranger to life transitions like going to grad school, losing loved ones, and moving away from home, I know life can be hard. I’d love to help you learn to love who you are and embrace your story, starting now.

With me, you’ll always find a safe, friendly, and comfortable experience where you can experience an authentic, collaborative interaction that makes you feel understood and empowered. Because I want you to have the best possible experience, I only take on a limited number of clients. Stick with me for focused attention and care.

I’m a licensed psychologist in Florida (PY 9509) and New York (021314).

Also, I’m a proud native Floridian, Latina therapist, devoted dog mom to a Maltese named Lily, and a chai tea latte lover. 

When I’m not counseling my clients, you’ll find me searching for motivational quotes on Pinterest, creating my latest to-do list, listening to music that comforts me, exercising, or chilling at the beach. These days, I’m learning to play the ukulele, and I may just bring it to our next session.

MY PROCESS

1. Schedule your free 15-minute consult.

Reach out to see if we’re a good fit. We’ll schedule a phone or video call so you can get your questions answered and leave feeling confident you want to work with me.

2. Complete the initial paperwork

I’ll send you an email to collect your info prior to our first appointment (the initial assessment session) so we can focus on what’s important when we meet again.

3. Show up to the initial assessment.

During our first appointment, I’ll ask questions to get to know you and help you establish goals for therapy.

4. Begin counseling.

In our next sessions, we’ll collaboratively create a plan to help you meet your goals.
